Main purpose of job: To assist the finance department with accounting activities

You will support with all aspects of finance administration including raising, sending and paying invoices, reconciling company accounts, chasing late payments, scanning, filing and bank account administration.


Department: Finance

Location: Sixways Stadium

Position reports to: Finance Manager

Length of contract: Full Time – Permanent

Main Duties:

  • Invoice processing
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Processing expense requests
  • Credit control
  • Cash book maintenance
  • Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers whilst giving excellent customer service
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
  • Assisting with Monthly accounts preparation
  • Petty cash
  • Liaising with product providers/platforms to obtain information
  • Following company Compliance Procedures at all times
  • Completing new suppliers and customer forms and ensure correct
  • Placing orders for the office
  • Ad hoc duties to support the finance team with administration and any other support required
  • Post duties
  • To undertake any other duties as directed by management and / or the Company.

Previous experience:

  • Previous experience in a finance admin role
  • Knowledge of Access Dimensions/Sage would be preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
  • Self-driven with a can-do attitude
  • Work effectively and proactively as part of the existing team
  • Be competent using Microsoft Office including Excel, Powerpoint and Word
