Worcester Warriors Community Foundation is the official charity of Worcester Warriors.  The Foundation exists to provide a platform for inclusive sport for everyone.

We work with over 10,000 people across our community every year and our mission is to make positive change to the lives of everyone who engages in one of our initiatives.

We are looking for an Adapted Sports Coach to help with the expansion of our delivery programme.

Reporting to the Adapted Sports Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery to specific groups.  95% of our work is in low social economic communities and those communities marginalized and/or under-represented.

Reporting to:             Adapted Sports Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • To organise and deliver rugby and other adapted sports sessions
  • To support the Foundation Team in the delivery of all initiatives as and when required and lead delivery of coaching sessions
  •  Deliver KPI’s in line with funded programmes and report on progress as required


  • To organise and deliver inclusive rugby and multi sports sessions.
  • To facilitate adapted sports sessions in line with the Warriors Community Foundation delivery plan.
  • To deliver rugby and other sports to mixed ability groups, LSEG and BAMER communities.
  • To set up and deliver rugby coaching sessions on all Warriors Community Foundation initiatives as and when required to do so.
  • To support new and develop existing initiatives in line with demand and the strategic business plan.
  • To continually develop, monitor and evaluate all programmes of delivery and produce reports where necessary and when required.
  • Keep accurate records of all key performance indicators as required by Foundation funders and partners and report these to the Adapted Sports Lead on a regular basis.
  • To understand the sponsors and partners funding conditions and ensure compliance.
  • To support other members of the Community Foundation team in the delivery of initiatives as and when required.
  • To promote Worcester Warriors and Worcester Warriors Women’s matches and events.
  • To attend and work at Worcester Warriors and Worcester Warriors Women’s matches and events as required.
  • To undertake any other duties within the Foundation as and when requested to do so by the Head of Foundation.


Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum Level 2 NGB qualification
  • A clean driving licence
  • Previous experience of coaching, specifically mixed abilities preferable
  • A desire to facilitate sport for all
  • Ability to produce reports and accurate records
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance
