Bar Supervisor - Casual Worker

Main Duties: We are recruiting experienced bartenders to lead a team on one of the bars at Sixways Stadium and to ensure guests experience industry- leading levels of customer service throughout their visit. The candidate will operate the bar under the guidelines of the department and company and will look to develop existing management skills through interactions with both guests and colleagues and through a programme of onsite training.

Main Duties:
- Brief, instruct and lead a team of bartenders over the course of an event/function
- Interact with the cliental and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Understand the products on the bar and be able to asses customer’s needs and preferences and make recommendations as and when needed
- Upsell products as requested and increase bar turnover over a season
- Ensuring the stock rotation policy of FIFO ‘First In First Out’ is carried out across the stadium both between and during events
- Completing bar specific event paperwork
- Closing down the bar and bringing it back to the required level of cleanliness and set up acceptable for the next event
- To undertake any other duties deemed commensurate with the post and as directed by management and / or the Company

Essential Requirements:
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- You must be a passionate and engaging individual with experience, knowledge and understanding of the drinks industry
- Ability to lead and encourage staff, and maintain exceptional bar standards whilst keeping the bar organised, stocked and clean
- The ability to establish a rapport with customers and deliver high levels of customer service with a genuine and approachable manner
- Must have a flexible and positive attitude in order to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Be of smart appearance with good personal hygiene
- Free and available on the majority of match day weekends of the season. Match weekend dates to be given in advance with actual days subject to change between
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday up to 2 months in advance
- Have basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literate
- Pro-active in problem solving and work on own initiative to deal with problems and opportunities
- To have a flexible and positive attitude in order to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Worcester Warriors are one of the top 12 rugby union clubs in England and compete in the Gallagher Premiership, Premiership Rugby Cup and European Challenge Cup.
Warriors play their home matches at Sixways Stadium, which has been the club’s home ground since they moved from Bevere in 1975.
The stadium, which is conveniently located close to Junction Six of the M5 motorway, has a capacity of 11,499, ample on-site parking and has modern conference and banqueting facilities which are used extensively throughout the year.
